The usual questions about your trial, subscription, the tools and payments. If yours isn't here, just email us.
During the trial, if the tools aren't right for you, send us an email explaining what's not working and we'll refund the trial charge to your original payment method. Your feedback genuinely helps us improve, so the more you can tell us about what didn't click, the better.
Yes. Every plan starts with a trial that gives you full access to every tool, just like a paying subscriber. The trial length and the small trial fee are shown clearly at checkout before you sign up, so you know exactly what you're committing to. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged for the regular subscription afterwards.
For as long as you want. At the end of each billing period your subscription renews automatically and you're charged for the next period. To stop it, cancel any time before the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the current billing period, then the account closes with no further renewals. One thing to note: if the payment for your current period failed or hasn't been collected yet, that invoice still needs to be paid, since you've already used the service during that time.
You can cancel any time from your account dashboard, under Settings → Subscription. Once it's processed we send you a confirmation email so you have a record. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for. If you can't find the cancel option in the dashboard for any reason, send us an email and we'll handle it for you.
No. Filesbuddy works as a subscription and not on a pay-per-use basis. One account gives you access to every tool we offer, including everything we add later. There are no upsells inside the product, no premium tier hidden behind another paywall, and no per-tool fees. The toolset grows over time and you get every new tool automatically as long as your subscription is active.
No installation needed. Filesbuddy runs entirely in your browser. There's nothing to download, no browser extensions, no plugins, and no software updates to manage on your end. Just sign in and every tool is one click away.
You can sign in from as many devices as you like: phone, tablet, work laptop, home computer. Because Filesbuddy runs in the browser, your files and history are available everywhere you sign in. The account itself is personal though. It's tied to one individual, identified by email, and isn't intended to be shared between people. If colleagues need access, each person should have their own account.
There's no limit on how often you can use Filesbuddy or how many edits you can make. Work through as many files in a day as you need to. The one practical cap is per file: most tools accept files up to 50 MB, which covers the vast majority of business files. If you regularly run into that, email us and we'll see what we can do. Each account also has 1 GB of storage. Filesbuddy is a toolset that runs in your browser, not a file hosting service, so the storage is meant for documents you're actively signing or editing, not for long-term archiving.
Credit and debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Cartes Bancaires and more, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them. Every payment is protected by several layers of security: all data travels over encrypted TLS connections, supported cards go through 3D Secure authentication for an extra step of verification, and your card details are tokenized so the actual card number never reaches our servers.
Yes. Sign in and go to Settings → Invoices. There you'll find every invoice listed by date, amount and status. Click any one to download it as a PDF. Each invoice includes the line items, our company details and VAT information, ready for your bookkeeping or tax return.
